HIV Support Fund

The HIV Support Fund is designed to improve the quality of life of individuals living in Sheffield who are infected or affected by HIV and AIDS and educate individuals about HIV/AIDS.  The main priorities of the HIV Support fund are to contribute towards:

  • the eradication of HIV-related stigma and discrimination.
  • equitable access to treatment, care and support for people living with HIV
  • enhanced understanding of the facts about HIV and living with HIV in theUK
    • effective HIV prevention in order to halt the spread of HIV
    • early diagnosis of HIV through ethical, accessible and appropriate testing

THEMES / FUNDING AVAILABLE?

Providers from the voluntary and private sector can apply for 1 years funding for one or all of the themes (for further details of the themes/strands see guidance notes):

  •  Prevention Theme– £5,000 to £15,000
  • Support & Engagement Theme(Strand 1) – £5,000 to £25,000
  • Support & Engagement Theme(Strand 2) – £5,000 to £10,000

  • Voluntary and Private Sector Organisations

 The Closing Date for applications: 5 April 2013
