JOB ADVERT

Community Health & Sports Coach

£18,000 pro rata per annum plus 7% Employers Pension Contribution

21 Hours per week

Funded until 31st January 2014 with the possibility of increased hours through other funding

Our mission is to create a community where local people are involved and empowered to play an active role and make a difference.  We are seeking to recruit a Community Health & Sports Coach to join our Community Regeneration and Engagement Project Team.  The post holder will be primarily responsible for organising, delivering and developing physical health and well-being and sport activities for local people.  He/she will also support local people on a one to one and/or in small groups to set themselves small goals to improve their health and develop new health opportunities in Foxhill.

The post holder must have:

Experience of delivering activities including physical activity, health and/or sport in a community setting

Also hold a minimum of a Level 2 nationally recognised qualification in sport, health, fitness, or equivalent.
