4UBUS – VOLUNTEERS AND TRUSTEES REQUIRED

The 4UBUS project in Sheffield wishes to appoint new volunteers.

This project has been has been in a state of preparation for several years and is now nearing a point of launch set for spring 2013.

Project outline is to utilise a fully equipped double decked bus throughout the city of Sheffield by supporting organisations and community groups citywide. It is hoped that the bus can be used as a useful resource tool in times of austerity and emergency. The bus will target vulnerable communities by providing essential services at their point of need. The initiative is innovative, flexible and staffed by an existing team of enthusiastic volunteers.

Would you like to join them? 

 4UBUS is now keen to appoint further trustees and volunteers to the team before the predicted launch in the spring. We are looking for volunteers with community

expertise, drivers psv / hgv, general event day helpers, cleaners, cooks, interpreters, educators event co-ordinators and . Key applicants should be passionate about the city and want to make a positive impact on Sheffield citizens. They will share and add to the vision of the project through continuous improvement, innovation and enthusiasm.

 Volunteers are unpaid but will be reimbursed for agreed expenses incurred.
